Translation from Greek of the catechetical sermons of St. Theodore Studites, arranged in five cycles. First, for the Paschal period (leaves 1-40b); second, for the Pentecost season (leaves 41-103b); third, for the time after New Years̀ Day, i.e. September 1st (leaves 104-185b); fourth, for the Lenten period and the Paschal week (leaves 186-278b); fifth, thirty-one teachings and readings for all feast days for Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year (leaves 279-364). Leaves 364b-366, general information on the readings during Lenten and other periods (leaves 364b-366). Leaf 239a, in the fourth cycle: text on "the killing of the Bulgarians". Leaf 336b, the following scribal signature: "the blacksmith, refugee from Vatoped (Monastery)". Ornamented heading (outlined in drawing) and initials.
